Person killed in Thanksgiving morning crash ID'd | News
SACRAMENTO, CA - A driver was injured and a passenger killed when their vehicle struck a pole at 14th Avenue and 55th Street in Sacramento on Thursday.
Sacramento police were dispatched to the scene at about 6:20 a.m., according to Officer Doug Morse.
According to Morse, the passenger, Kim Nguyen, 37, of Sacramento, who was sitting in the back seat, was killed in the crash.
The unidentified driver was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Morse said there was no indication at this time that driving under the influence was a factor in the crash.
