SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A man was shot in the face near a Sacramento bank Thursday night.
The shooting happened at the Chase Bank on Broadway and 16th Street just before 11 p.m.
Sacramento police believe the shooting may be related to a fender bender near the bank. The suspect allegedly shot the victim, who then drove to a Target store at Riverside Boulevard and Broadway and asked someone to call for help.
The victim was shot in the cheek area, but the extent of his injuries were unclear. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated.
Police said the suspect vehicle was described as a dark older model Ford Explorer with tinted windows; three people were in the SUV at the time of the shooting.
